The CMI team has over a century of combined industry experience in servicing clients through the full life cycle of commercial real estate. We are actively involved in our community via charities and outreach groups. Our team members are certified with various groups including the Institute for Real Estate Management (IREM), Certified Property Manager (CPM), Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), National Association of Realtors (NAR), Houston Association of Realtors (HAR), National Apartment Leasing Professional (NALP), International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) licensed. We also work with the local Chambers of Commerce, Greater Houston Partnership, Houston Apartment Association (HAA) and Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA). The rich diverse background of the team has allowed our business to focus on both Property Management and Brokerage.
Leadership
Victor E. Vacek, CPM®, RPM
Mr. Vacek has a B.B.A. degree in Business Administration from the University of Houston, is a Certified Property Manager, holds a Texas Real Estate Brokers License and an Oklahoma State Brokers License. He has a real estate background dating from 1969 when he was a member of the Vantage organization, where he was responsible for commercial property management. He managed over 1,600,000 square feet of retail/service area and over 2,000,000 square feet of industrial space.
In 1977 he became President and General Manager of the Houston division of Mckinney and Company, a Pittsburgh based real estate firm. His responsibilities at that time included the supervision of all retail and on-site personnel, the preparation of annual budgets, the monthly income and expense statements for all property owners, and the negotiation of service contracts (including those concerning major renovations.)
